Most companies would be rather happy to get an award from Singularity University, as part of the Global Grand Challenge.
At BreezoMeter though the reception of the award was slightly different...
Four years ago, when BreezoMeter was still mostly an idea, we went through that scary but vividly remembered moment for all entrepreneurs - the first pitch.
It was for a regional competition, in Israel, organized by the Ramon Foundation, and, you guessed it, Singularity University. At the time, out of hundreds of companies, we made it to the Top 3.
This first win generated an amount of energy, enthusiasm and support we did not expect. I wouldn’t say it carried us all the way to where we are now but it did and still does mean a lot to the early members of BreezoMeter.
Hence, when we received the Environmental Innovation Award at Singularity University Global Summit 2017, we were simply ecstatic.
What does it mean?
It means that air quality data is becoming a standard for many products, across a wide range of industries.
And BreezoMeter is leading the way.
