Series A Funding means Global expansion & New Product Line

Four years ago, I began searching for a house to buy. But not just any house: my wife has asthma and she was pregnant. As an environmental engineer, I knew that short-term exposure to air pollution has the same health effects as smoking: it could increase the risk for premature birth, and damage our baby’s health. These factors played a strong part in the early creation of BreezoMeter.

Actually, air pollution is not only a danger to people like my wife and child: it is a danger to all of us. More than 80 percent of cities exceed the World Health Organization’s acceptable air quality standards, and 92 percent of the world’s population breathes unhealthy air (have you heard that Paris was under a HUGE pollution blanket last week?). Knowing what we breathe and how to make informed decisions are more essential than ever.

Today I’m privileged to announce the closing of $3 million in series A fundraising for BreezoMeter. Funding was led by Phi Square Holdings, Entrée Capital, Launchpad Digital Health, and SeediL participated in the financing. BreezoMeter is using the funding to expand its air-quality data access globally.

We also plan to launch an entirely new line of products with the goal of democratizing air-quality data and helping businesses provide every human with knowledge about the air quality around them – at all times – in their day-to-day lives. With our global expansion and extended product line, we at BreezoMeter are exploring new markets to make our personalized data available to more consumers in real-time.

Our unique data is easily integrated, via API, into technologies such as wearable devices, which provide continuous access to outside surroundings. Check out our Customers use case page (Including Dyson, Veolia, Cisco, Current-Powered by GE and more).

As the CEO of BreezoMeter, I promise you that we will keep on working passionately, night and day, to provide you the most accurate air-quality data. All over the world.

Thanks to our customers, more than 50M people already use our data every day to make informed decisions and breathe better (among them are my wife and two children). We at BreezoMeter are very proud of this accomplishment. But our mission is even bigger: to improve the health and quality of the lives of billions of people who are exposed to air pollution every day.

As awareness of the health effects of air pollution multiplies, we see many leading companies in the fields of IOT, Cosmetics and Air Purifier/HVAC providing solutions to reduce exposure to low air quality. For those companies we say: BreezoMeter and you share the same mission – improving our customer’s health using the finest, most accurate technology.

By providing the most accurate air-quality data, down to the city-block worldwide, we can help you better engage with your users, increase your product value, and help you impact your users’ health.
