New features in Apple Weather app on iPhone include the introduction of industry-leading air quality data from BreezoMeter.
As part of the new iOS 14.3 update, users of the Apple Weather app on iPhone will view hyperlocal air quality data from BreezoMeter. And we couldn’t be more excited.
Air pollution levels can change drastically throughout the course of the day and even across short distances. BreezoMeter’s hyperlocal air quality data is available when viewing locations in the US, UK, Germany, India, and Mexico. The data is reported in real time and reflects the user’s local air quality index (LAQI) and related health category, represented visually within the LAQI’s color scale. This allows users to monitor air quality and make immediate and informed decisions that reduce their exposure to air pollution. Additional air quality information is available to users on the BreezoMeter consumer website or iOS app. This information includes the following:
- Air quality map
- Pollutant Levels
- Pollen levels
- Health-related recommendations for sensitive populations
- Environmental forecast
