BreezoMeter Named To 2017 Global Cleantech 100

Ziv Lautman

BreezoMeter has hit an important milestone: we’re excited to announce that we were named in the prestigious 2017 Global Cleantech 100, produced by the Cleantech Group. Over 9,900 companies were nominated from 77 countries across the world, and we’re excited and proud to have made the shortlist.

The Global Cleantech 100 features private companies that are best positioned to solve tomorrow's clean technology challenges within a 5-10 year timeframe. To make the list, we were vetted by an 86-person panel of cleantech experts, along with the Cleantech Group’s proprietary research data. It represents the most innovative and promising ideas impacting the future of a wide-range of industries, and we’re honored to be featured due to our work on making air quality visible across the world.

Air pollution is the biggest health emergency of our century. It impacts our health, shortens our lives, reduces our quality of life, and burdens our economies. We founded BreezoMeter with a mission to provide accurate, hyperlocal, and actionable air quality data, and now over 50 million people rely on our data every day. Businesses integrate it into their products, healthcare companies use it for their patients, smart cities use it to combat pollution, and much more. For us, the Cleantech 100 Award is both a great honor and recognition of the importance of our mission, and we’ll continue to work towards making air pollution visible and actionable in the years to come.
